Very cool Hawk! Though how can we crack them apart for casting if they're painted?

why the fuck would he want to take those masterpieces apart to get them reproduced? the wait time alone on all those parts being availible for us to buy would be a year or more.
fuck that, I want to see them painted up and ready for action

Neato. You gonna go over the silver with clear red?
The WM mech rocks hard.

Neato. You gonna go over the silver with clear red? The WM mech rocks hard. Aye. That I am. I just didn't bring any with me to Mamahawk's house over the weekend and the local hobby store didn't have any either. I'll start adding that today most likely. And no. I am not breaking them down to be cast up. I spent way too much money on them to not have them for a year or so. Hell, I still haven't gotten stuff back from Dion from the first ST6 get together.

I liked him in silver. And for the record, I was offering to cast up the little one, NOT the mechs. I just love the upper body on that guy. The collared armor is perfect. It is a shame we only ever got him in the 7 inch size figure, which is now next to imposible to find.

I like the silver and gold as a color scheme, but something iconic was needed for this bastard. Red and Gold was the only way to go.
I think silver and gold on a Mark V would look pretty cool.

what are these?... are they completely your original build or did you create them from something else? will a figure be fitting inside them or are they just for show?

Those are looking sweet!
I don't collect Iron Man but I'd be tempted to pick these up for a custom or two if they hit retail.

You wanna see an update? Yeah, you know you do... It's just the Iron Man mech at the moment. The War Machine isn't too far behind, but it's not worth taking a pic like this for. Still have a bunch of minor paint touch-ups to make, then the weapons, then the interior (which will have to wait until I get back from Africa)

All that work and still no pics of anybody actually driving the things! The paint has to cure before I paint the insides of them. Planning on making a custom figure for the IM mech too. All that will have to wait until I get back from my next stint in Africa.

gonna repaint the WM proto that came with WM mech to drive it? Mehopes so. No, the proto War Machine is just a Movie War Machine figure with rubbery legs. I'm going to make a custom WM armor for the mech.
