That's fucking awesome man!
I dig it! The soft goods are just awesome!
As far as a pack, I dont think any of my VBSS guys have packs either, though I am pretty sure they all have shotguns of some sort, either mounted on the gun on holstered on the back. So a shotgun sling on his back might be perfect for him, but I would stay away from a pack just due to the nature of the work.

Hi guys this is a fairly simple custom simple!? are you kidding me? YOU make the shit look easy. most of us here couldn't pull the tiny soft goods off to outfit our toys with no matter what kind of sewing machine or tools we used. seriously, man, you have talent that most our mothers and grandmothers who sew and crochet and cross-stitch and shit don't even have. no, that's not flattery either, that's fucking truth. but anyways, wow, that's one of your coolest looking SEALs yet. fuck a backpack, I think this is just fine without one. P.S. what the hell does VBSS stand for?

VBSS= Visit Board Search Seize
These guys either fastrope from a helicopter or board from another boat onto a vessel they suspect to have contraband such as guns or drugs, search for them and seize them.

Looks awesome! And yeah, I'd go with a shotgun slung on his back, perfect touch.

Or some of the bbi bolt cutters too!
VBSS would be carrying some to cut locks off of cargo containers during searches.

thanks guys! i wasn't sure about the back pack but after the feedback will be leaving him without one. I will have to have a think about a shot gun, Hawkeye great idea about the bolt cutters!
I have seen some great pics of royal marines in the VBSS role so am thinking of doing a Brit counterpart.

Typically I don't like soft-goods uniforms on 3.75" figures, because it makes them look like the the Staypuff marshmallow man, but you managed to make it work great here. If I didn't know better, I would have sworn that was a 12" figure.

If I didn't know better, I would have sworn that was a 12" figure. To me, that is the ultimate complement. I've gotten that a few times myself and yes, yes it does look just as good as a 1:6 counterpart. To me, nothing says "Awesome Toy" like a 1:6 scale figure in 1:18 size. One of the reasons I dig your stuff so much! I'm interested in seeing your Royal Marine!

the BBi ones are nice but lack something the Marauder combat shotgun is too big and cumbersome for CQB imho i suggest the 1st Marauder shotgun or the XM26 shotgun attachment to the modular M4

Hey Blaster i tried the XM26 but it doesnt look right with the shotened barrell on the M-4 am thinking of using either Mjs w1 shotgun with foregrip removed or this one from hasbro: www.yojoe.com/access/d03/166.shtml

I like the hasbro one.
One of the few guns hasbro made that looks like it's real counterpart. A few of my SEALs carry that one.
