I love that flying wing thing. I'd like to see a reference picture of the original model if you have one or a link to one. The movie sounds interesting too, what is it and if it's an import is there a dubbed version?
I know that you put alot of effort into the figure itself, and it shows, but that flying wing is just too cool. How much was the kit if you don't mind me asking?

I was unfamiliar with the character. I was guessing she was based on an existing character that was incorporated into your universe and looked her up. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nausica%C3%A4_of_the_Valley_of_the_Wind_(manga)I got a friend who is living encyclopedia of manga and anime and will asking him more about the series when he is over next. Looks great. The statue bash with the scarlett worked well.

Thanks, gents. I was sure Nausicaa was more widely known due to being a Miyazaki character, but her presentation seems to have met with a thud everywhere I've posted her. Hayao Miyazaki is pretty much the Grand Old Man of Japanese anime (and some manga), and you guys need to see pretty much everything he's ever done. Disney's been doing an excellent job with English dubs the past few years. For us kind of geeks hereabouts, I highly recommend Nausicaa, Princess Mononoke, Lupin III: The Castle of Colgliostro, and Castle in the Sky; and if you're a geek with a young daughter, I recommend My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, and Kiki's Delivery Service. All of his stuff is just wonderful. And Spuds, I link to the model kit's HLJ listing in my write-up, man.

I was trying to figure out what the source for her was because I didn't have a clue who she was or supposed to be. But despite total ignorance I love the custom itself, she's certainly unique, plus bonus points for the flying platform.
