A guy over at The Fighting 1:18 forums had it as his avatar. I did a quick web search and found the image and made it mine over here.

Gahhh! So I redid part of the head to make it look more accurate. Looked great, then noticed one of the eyes, the eyelid was off. I tried to use exacto to fix excess eyelid and it cut into the glass pushpin that I used for the eye in the sculpt. Unfortunately since its harder than the surrounding sculpting material, any attempts to dremel it out and replace it cause even more damage tothe face... I tried patch work and it looks like shit. Now I have to resculpt part of the head...again. Though at least I got the shield and claws half way sculpted now.

Dion, this project is AWESOME! You are doing such a great job on this. Any plans to tackle the other Micronauts aliens?

I do hope to do Reptos next.
I have also been looking at a couple of the old vehicles and thinking about giving them the "Evolutions" treatment. The ones I am thinking about are Sharkos and Terraphant.

I love that shield man. I would not pass up a copy of it if they were available. The head and claws as well.

The head is integrated into the body (unless you meant the helmet) and the claw articulation inserts have already been sculpted over so those are out for molding/casting at the moment. If I have any funtional mold/casting material I can see what I can do about the shield but no promises. My mold/casting supplies are really old.

The way you have done the claws is awesome. My eye keeps going to the lower torso though, it looks really thin compared to the rest of him.

The shield covers it in the prototype pic (first one I posted), though the original was thin like that also. Though glad you metioned that because I forgot the ridges along the hips. Another angle of unreleased prototype SOTA figure.
