I picked up a Kotobukiya Robocop figure the other day. It's not really well articulated out of the box, but it sure seems like it was made to be customized. I was able to boil and pop it apart without any problems. I used a Bleeding Edge Iron Man figure to replace the neck and thigh joints along with rocker ankles, then added ball joints to the shoulders and hips and used a 25th CC for elbows, mid-torso and knee joints. I gave him some interchangeable hands using some Revoltech figures I had sitting around. The gun is sculpted to the hand and while I could have removed it, added a grip to it and used a different hand to hold it, I just didnt feel like it. I won't play with him enough to care. He isn't exactly movie accurate color-wise either, call it artistic license, but I like this scheme better. I learned a great deal from putting this together and have no doubts I could improve upon it if I decide to do a second one. "Stay out of trouble." "Dead or alive, you're coming with me." He's a bit taller now as well.

He is a beast! Love it! The height works out perfectly as the should tower over people being a cyborg and all.

He's a bit wide-hipped, but easily better than the one I did. I say go ahead and get the jetpack version. IIRC the jetpack was removable since it had to be assembled onto the fig, plus you get the swappable weapon hand and an ectra head to try to make a removable helmet version (I suggest a 25A Serpentor for the Murphy head).

He IS wide hipped. He didn't look that way when I was piecing him together, but I screwed something up putting him together somehow.
I may pick up the jetpack one, Always room for improvements, yeah?

that's a great one Brian. I like the added height and articulation, you should watch the little paintrub around the knee, there's some of CC's blue coming out.
