Shitload of awesome right there!
That Bane is a million times better than what Mattel is crapping out.

Awesome work on these man. I hate to admit I bought the 4 pack at Target and kept only the heads to make customs. I can only hope they are half as cool as these. Great work.

I was contemplating what Sean did, getting the figures just for the heads.
If I find them when I get home, I might. I need a little piece of the awesome Toby's created.

Still though, the bodies can be cut and sanded out to be kit bashed to a blank Joe body. Thats the plan with a batman Im working on now. the heads themselves on the 1/18 scale is laughable though. Like I mentioned bout the Bat head; the forehead seriously looks like a but crack! Havnt ran across a Bane fig in the '5 line yet......still looking......
Thanks for the props though you guys. Out of everything Ive done, Im mostly proud of this Bat crap! Thanks again!

considering but crack, yeah, their somewhat crap. Salvageable for a descent base to mod up yourself though. There not bad for a starting point. Ill post some pics of the bat head so you can see. Didnt pick up the Bane though, cuase like I mentioned, its laughable! Perhaps the '5 fig will be descent for details....?

See? That's one of the problems I have with Mattel. They put all of the production money into the larger scale figures....ie: Green Lantern...then make this, as you say, laughable stuff in the 4" line.
You'd think they would want to put decent stuff in the most popular scale. Of course I could be wrong about what the most popular scale is... but GI Joe, Star Wars, Marvel Universe....

Agreed! Cuase their 12' line is IMPRESSIVE! But I do prefer something a bit more compatible to the majority like you mentioned. Heres the comparison to the 4' line to the 5' line......

Hmm... yeah, I see what you mean.
What torso did you use on your Batman?

The Bane head looks silly as well. But like I said, they are great starting points. Batmans forehead here is in desperate need of a spanking! A little sanding on the forehead and hell be ready for use.
Torso on mine is a Beach Head with random bits glued to it.

Beachhead you say?
Hmm... I might have one of those somewhere.
I saw the Batman toys today for the first time. Well...ok...just Batman...in about four different colors. No other figures from the line...of course.
I might have to make me a Batman.
