Battle Damaged Darth Vader. Ok, this was one that I didnt think I'd like. I thought, yeah another Darth Vader. BFD. Snoooze. Oh, but how wrong I was! I think this is the coolest guy in the wave! The sculpting is incredible and the removable parts are done so well that some of them are hard to even see that they come off! My puppy loves this one too. I take parts off as she bats at him and once all the parts are off, she just ignores him. (Yes, my puppy will play Star Wars with me.) With parts on: With parts off:

Juno Eclipse. This tasty little number is supposed to be torn between the Empire she serves and Vader's Secret Apprentice, whom she seems to be getting the hots for. I think I'll leave this one alone and get another to customize.

Evo Trooper: Supposed to be able to fight in the harshest environments, ford acid rivers and sustain direct hits from lightning, These guys seem like a bad ass bunch! I really like the sculpting, detail and the concept! Kinda bummed they couldnt sculpt a new weapon as his flechette launcher, but I like the heavy blaster, so its ok. He also comes with two of the pistols that fit in the holsters on the clone kamas. But he has no holsters himself. The lack of a new weapon and giving him two he cant carry knock this down just a notch from being perfect in my book. Seems like it would be an easy task to cut the head ball off and do a swap with a smaller one, add a head and dremel out the helmet. I may just do that! LBC. Added a Sandtrooper paldaron:

Imperial Jump Trooper: The other new Stormtrooper for this wave. The detail is great and I really dig the figure, but his card says that the Jump Troopers all have jetpacks. Nary pack to be found with this figure. Oops, screwed that one up Hasbro! A decent jetpack would have made this figure perfect! Also thinking about swaping the head balls out and hollowing out the helmet. LBC using a ARC Trooper paldron:

I'm sorry Maris Brood cant come to the computer right now, she's being customized into a custom of my hot little wife. But Darth Maul will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the tonfa lightsabers:

Rahm Kota. Oh fuck YOU Hasbro! Such a cool idea and you screw it up. The figure has a complete lack of detailing. Everyone on this board that sculpts can sculpt better than this. The saber belt doesnt stay on the figure for crap, who the hell sheaths a lit lightsaber anyway? What Hasbro dunderhead came up with that?? This figure looks rushed at every angle. Coulda been so much more with just a little more time in sculpting and coming up with a belt that would hold two non lit lightsabers like samurai swords. What's worse is to compare it to the Battle Damaged Vader. This thing looks like it was pooped out a Bantha's ass compared to that figure. I hate Hasbro inconstancy. The card art makes this guy look like Henry Ducard from Batman Begins, who ironically enough, was played by Liam Neeson. It's very striking.

Shadow Guard: Very cool! Using the Senate Guard figure as a base was a good idea. He has a hip holster for the Scout Trooper blaster, just like the first one did. The saberpike is a great idea and the fact that the blade comes off is a winner! Only thing that coulda made this better in my mind would have been to make the helmet removable. But oh well. Gonna need a second one though, thats for sure!

The stormtrooper upgrades both kick ass. Beyond those two it's hit or miss. Just as I assumed, Kota and FUBAR Vader are the highlights of the series. And Maul looks fucking amazing holding the tonfa sabers. nice pics, thank you. I'll be looking at them again and again, awesome job.

Agreed, Kota looks like shit. Like '95 SW-sculpted shit. Total waste of what could've been a cool figure. And sheathed lightsabers? WTF? It'd cut right through! I could see myself snagged a Trooper if I came across them, maybe a Shadow Guard or two, but pass on the rest.

i've six juno eclipse figs for customizing but i don't think i'm gonna get the other figs, the troopers don't appeal to me much, maybe the jedi girl (for customs again)

Kota's sheath straps diagonally over his torso. But yeah, dumb as fuck by Hasbro about the Ssaber. Why didn't they jst add an unlit saber with him? Oh yeah, cause that would have made sense. I really like Vader, apart from the arm damage thing falling off all the time, his robot foot being twice as big as his other foot, and his sculpted eye piece being half way up his forehead. Oh yeah, and his helmet doesn't fit properly either. The Jump Trooper pisses me off becasue he's a great figure but no jump pack and crappy gun. And Mariss Brood? WTG, Hasbro - you still manage to con people with a piece of shit like this after all these years. and thanks much to rebelscum, for their lightning fast updates of their reviews so we all could have been saved wasting our money on that crap figure.

I'm slapping 25th Baroness's ass & legs on Brood to make a good one. Little disappointed by head head though. Card art, pretty hot, figure, kinda homely.

I picked up the Shadow Guard passed on the others. May rethink and pick up the troopers. Who knows.
Great reviews though.

The gear is completely lacking on both the new troopers. I mean there was like NO thought put into anything beyond the sculpt details and paint apps. Too bad Hasbro fumbled so bad on it too because these could have been near perfect... This IS one of the rare times I'll admit that the accessories ARE [or SHOULD BE] as important as the figure. And there are none here.

I found some Aayla legs in my fodder earlier and did a swap - They pop right on, and the colour match is pretty good. So here's another to Hasbro for not doing the obvious and making this figure as it should have been.

Got a pic of that Marcus?
I love the Evo and Jump Troopers, but yeah, the lack of accessories really sucks. I added a ARC Trooper palduron to my Jumptrooper and a Sandtrooper palduron to my Evotrooper.
I'll get them up with some Maruader weapons at some point.

Marcus, yeah man, that looks great!
I used my Maris for a custom of my wife. I didnt get it done before I left though.
Dion, yeah, I'll have one of those waiting for me when I get back. I am gonna use my Evo trooper for an AfghanistanEVO custom. High end Sandtrooper idea.
