So few weeks ago I picked up some Sculpey Bake and Bend and been testing it out. So far works great for tentacles. Today I twisted some copper wire and coated it with some Sculpey Bake and Bend to make the inner "spine" of sorts for a couple projects. So far it works exactly like those bendable action figures. Now I am currently sculpting segments to the "spine". At the moment I am working on scorpion-like and centipede-like creatures that if this works will be able to twist and arch their bodies and tails. Will post pics if successful.

sounds pretty promising man. How does it sculpt?

I am not too thrilled with it as a sculpting base (it sculpts like regular sculpey.), so I am just using it for simple stuff. Though it also works great if you have bendable items you need to mold. I have been working on loin cloths and other plastic bendable "clothing" that I would be making molds of then packing with "bake and bend".

I tried it a long time ago and wasn't happy with the results. It turned out more like a Marvel Universe cape where it had some give to it but wasn't really able to add articulation. On top of that the tail I made with tinfoil in it ended up cracking after several months when I tried to bend it.
