Here's a pair of 1:18 Predators that I've been working on... these are a commission for a customer that's been waiting a LONG time, and has been very patient while I moved into a new house and set up a new studio... hopefully he likes them. These are made from a combo of Thor:Frost Giants parts with pieces from Slayer Design Studio as well as the McFarlane AvP mini dio figures. Size comparison with GI Joe Duke figure: I didn't want to post too many pics, so more photos at my facebook page. Thanks for looking!

Oh shit! That's the exact same thing I'm doing with my Predators! You don't find the McF chest armor to be a bit tight around the lower torso? I dremelled the armor out & glued it to the chest. You'll have to sculpt the gaps in the armor, but the figure retains full range of torso movement. Can't wait to see how yours turn out.

No one believes you are working on customs.

You don't find the McF chest armor to be a bit tight around the lower torso? Keep dremelling. That armor/torso is paper thin right now. And it moves on the lower torso just fine.

I dremelled most of it down, then filled the sides with Fixit. Less chance of cutting through the armor & dremelling all that's a pain in the ass.

Got some more painting done on my Preds... Bezerker Pred dreadlocks black-to-red fade: The other Pred got some webbing and a paint job, too: (Sorry for the ginourmous pics... didn't shrink them in PS this time). More pics on my facebook page, too.

Ooh! Awesome! What's that netting you're using on the red one? That's much better than painting.

The netting is from the POC Shadow Stalker

No shit? That's pretty slick. Just one net's worth?

Not even the entire thing. You could probably get 2 figures out of 1 net.

How do you attach it? Do you glue it around the legs & chest?

Yep. I spray painted it black, then measured a strip the width of the area that I need to cover. Glue one edge, wrap it around, trim to fit and glue the other edge. If you look at the legs you can see that it's not glued down at the bottom, I didn't want to hinder the knee articulation. But it's glued around the top of the thigh and down the inside of the thigh. The torso was easier since it doesn't really move.
