So this would have been easier if they had just released the war machine version instead. But I finally got started on this. And no, it won't be war machine. Attachments:

I have too many unshown WIPS that are just collecting dust. So keep me workign guys. Ever since Hawkeye posted that he got the prototypes for the power suits I have wanted to make one or 20 into power armors. I am going with turret head look for two reasons, I like symmetry, and why does power armor need a head? The body and legs were quite easy to take apart. They are mostly screws and light gluing. The arms are entirely plastic welded so I haven't gotten them apart yet. I am priming them in krylon flat black. It goes back together just as easily as it came apart. I need to built the turret mount, but this is how the main gun will sit. I want to keep the mods simple so I can complete this quickly. I don't want this to become another project in the bottom of the box. I want him to have a pack of some sort on his back. Any ideas?

Some type of large ammo container with bullet belts going to the gun?

that's an awesome Idea for the turret head. I love it. Your right, the power armors don't need an external head assembly.

And yet again, if they would have done this correctly the first time I wouldn't have had to mod the piece. It took a few tries to get it at the right height, but the turret is now on a ball and socket. I cracked one arm, what a pain in the ass, I will be painting the second arm as a single piece. There was so much plastic weld in there I had to seriously tweak it to get it apart. Attachments:

Anybody have a pair of vehicle headlights or spotlights they would send me to mount on the chest piece?

I might have a BF2K headlight assembly laying around if I didn't get rid of that box of fodder. I'll check.

What about LEDs? I know a place that does pre wired set ups. You can coose the colours.

LEDs would look pretty sharp. Especially a big one glowing in the chest hole.

I got a little paint on him today. I don't see me adding much more color. Maybe a little heavier silver on the pistons, but other than that I like him fairly dark.

I like it! The more muted color scheme works much better than the flashy stuff you typically see.

I have some old joe decals coming down from canada. Some yellow and black hazard stripes, some warning labels that kind of thing. Hopefully by the time they get here I will have figured out where to put them.

Most cool, indeed. More pics, plx. This mech may well be worth getting after all.
