okay, the Traveling SEAL needs his own section of the board.
here's a couple things:
1] everytime the figure changes hands, the new tour guide starts a new thread to showcase the photos they take.
2] before you send the SEAL off to the next person, print out your profile, so you can chronicle your "presence" on the board just as it looked when you got the camo killer into your care. put the printout into the envelope with everything else that's accumlated during the journey.
everytime the figure makes a new leg of the journey, it's going to be something of a "time capsule" style archive that goes with him.
thoughts?

Sounds good to me.
Man, there are some things I'd like to have his picture taken with here, but I cant.

Kinda both.
I cant take any pictures of the flight line or the aircraft or anything that might show a landmark that could be used for a tactical edge by the local goatfuckers, er, I mean Taliban.
Then there is stuff I am not sure if I can take picture of at all. The camp where all the "Secret Squirrel" guys (SpecOps) stay has a plaque on the outside saying who it's dedicated too and it has the SEAL logo on it. I'd like to get a picture of it, but those guys are about as freaked out by cameras as Howard Huges was in his later days.

I'd politely explain your utter geekdom, err, the situation, to the SpecOps guys & ask if you could take a picture of the plaque. They might be down.
Good ideas JD. Printer... Glad he started with me since I'd have to have my mom print them at work & that could be... tricky. Do have some plans for round two though. ;D Think I'll have to take our SEAL to the gun range at some point. And of course, for a Primanti's sandwich.
