Here is my Rock Viper so far. Gonna work on the harness a bit more and need to add a bit of gear, plus paint...:

Kurgan head for a Rock Viper? Dude's brutal! Though I can see where you're coming from. Rock Vipers always seemed like mountainous Range Vipers, so why wouldn't one kill a mountain lion & wear its skull as a hat. Freakin' awesome.

Rock Vipers were always one of my favorite Viper-types, and I can tell this one is going to do them great justice. One big reason being because Hawk is doing it, but that's beside the point. LOL!!
Only thing I can point out that I'd change is the support straps that go down under his crotch; they seem to be a bit too broad. But I'm sure you're already looking at ways to fix this. Can't wait to see it done, man!

that head choice is fucking random and it works nicely!
I LOVE the cobbled together straps and web belts, that's brilliant! (I was stuck on a belt resizing issue but that picture makes me want to try something that I hadn't thought of before.)
you using version 1 colors as springboard inspiration and branching out like you did on the Snow Serpent or is this going to be your own coloring experiment?

^^Ditto ;D This thing is gonna be scary as hell! And personally, I'd stray not so much from the color scheme, but the camo design.....!!
It'll be interesting to see what you do with it!

I might add a strap or two here and there, but I kinda like what I got going, yeah its kinda thick in the crotch, but that would allow one to hang seated over the edge of a cliff and do some sniping.
I think I am gonna change the colors a bit, but it'll still be recognizable as a Rock Viper.

Too dark to take any decent pics today and both my bulbs for my lightbox are busted. Gonna have to wait till tomorrow.
