So I got my action fleet gunship and AT-Te in the other day... and opened them... and I'm a little disapointed. This seemed to be the best place to vent about it.
ok... so they are part of the last of the action fleet line. The at-te, republic gunship, acclamator class star destroyer, etc... all the "ep-2" ships don't come with any micro machines minifigures. at first I figured it was just because hasbro got cheap and didn't want to make them anymore... but NO that isn't it!
The FREAKING cockpits are too small to fit the micromachine figures. NOW what the hell? the whole Action fleet line was made for the mini-figures and up untill these they came with a figure!
The at-te can't even sit a figure on the external gun! the Gunship's open compartment is BARELY large enough for the figures to stand up in and they look rediculously large. The cockpit itself on the gunship has 2 seats but the whole cockpit area isn't even big enough to fit ONE mini-fig!
I could potentially HEAVILLY modify these with my dremel to make it work.... but I paid almost 50 bucks for that damn dropship and 30 for the AT-TE....
with that said... they are still freaking awesome! ;D lol

Yeah, this is the place to vent about it.
I have both passed and picked up stuff based on what others have said here. So, thanks for the review!
How about some pictures to go with it?
That said, I never really got into the Mircromachine stuff. It just never held an interest for me or it made me mad that some of the coolest ships were only ever gonna get made in that line. Though I did get my idea for the Royal Guard Interceptor from that line.

I'll grab some pics when I get the chance.... I always enjoyed the ships as a child more than the 3 3/4" action figures. I can't tell you how many epic space battles were forged in my living room... I have always felt that the 6" scale of the action fleet toys was a perfect idea for making nice playable models which also looked good set up on display. I never did like the fact that the line of toys was restricted to the 6" length with each ship being individually scaled down to that size instead of being scaled to each other. It looks realy stupid to have a rebel blockade runner sitting next to an x-wing or y-wing when they are the same exact length...
