You really don't know who the Misfits are? Man you need to get out more. Or at least you did back in the 80s-90s. They are only one of the most influential punk bands of all time. Glen Danzig (of Danzig) was a member at one time as was Doyle Von Frankenstien.

Noticed the fourth pic was same as the fifth.
I am suprised no one made some joke about the misfits from the "gem" cartoon. LOL
I know who the Misfits were, though sadly only knew a little of their music. I should check out more of their music sometime.

I had a few Danzig albums back in the 90s. I think I might still have one or two somewhere.

While you were listening to the misfits and "punk" I was listening to the ramones and U2, I do like me first and the gimmie gimmies, though. Danzig is about 5 feet tall. No seriously he is. I've met him. He may be 5'3" on his tip toes. He has a complex about it. Wears boots on stage with lifts and doesn't let other band members stand up straight next to him on stage (they always lean back or some such thing). He would have been an awesome Wolverine but shit as Colossus. And the Ramones are punk man. Of all the bands in the early days of punk that were the most influential I'd say: Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Misfits, Dead Kennedys. U2 is far overrated. |

U2 sucks ass. "overrated" doesn't even come close to being the right word.
the only good music any of their members ever did was the Mission Impossible theme by Adam Clayton and the Edge. 2 of the members had to leave Bono behind to actually make good music.

LOL He is a little more like Bob Dylan, but I had to jump ship on Dylan, he's like 70 now, lol. I am familiar with the Misfits because two of my former employees were avid fans. I don't really know their music, but the customs certainly look like the group. As for the Ramones, I think it can be truly said that once you've heard one Ramones song you've heard them all...'cause they all sound the same. U2 is overrated because of Bono. Guilt by association, IMHO... "It's a Beautiful Day" is about the only song I can stand. |
