I challenged myself to try and do a custom scratch build of the colonial viper from battlestar galactica in a scale close to the action fleet. The cockpit is sized to take the action fleet minifigs but the ship came out a little large to realy look good with the others. Unfourtunately all my ships are in storage right now so I don't have a comparison shot to show it... Well here it is so far. I still need to paint the red accents and symbols on the wings and such and try to weather it a little better. Completely made of cardboard, cardstock, clear plastic, and 3 wooden dowels to add integrity to the engine tubes. ICK you can see the cardboard corigation .... hadn't noticed that until now... It isn't my best but it came out alright I think... My wife couldn't believe it was paper and cardboard! lol
