Here is a realy crappy picture of what I've got so far....
you can't realy see the details very well in the picture but the base body of the figure is a storm trooper. The backpack/oxygen tanks are scratch built from pen parts. The hoses are lego hoses. The helmet is the more normal but smaller mcquarrie concept fett helmet. The pack on the chest is the mcquarrie fett backpack... Unfortunately both backpacks had to be glued on and are not removable. The hoses however are. The canister at the bottom right leg is a clear container which held a lead replacement for a compass. The lid on it is removable and the various objects inside it are random things like screws and a solder wad... The plasma torch is made from a random accessory and a random blast effect. The hose is again a lego hose attached to pen parts at the bottom which makes up the canister for it. The left hand's gauntlet has a tiny regular head screwdriver stuck in it which I am calling a "pnuematic jack hammer" for S&G's...
so the basic concept was that I figured fett's suit wasn't sealed for space walks. I figured that he would occasionally need to go EVA and do repairs and modifications on his ship during orbit or missions in the outer rim... After all you can't always get to a shipyard or drydock right? So instead of making a spacesuit with alot of weopons I figured this would need tools and equipment instead. After all a seasoned bounty hunter wouldn't be doing repairs outside his ship unless he was in a protected and concealed spot....
