This is my second custom of Copperhead. The first version that I made in January of 2005 was almost perfect for my JoeVerse. However when I decided that I wanted to give all of my customs swivel wrists I decided to change a few other things about Copperhead. One thing that I wanted to change was the color selection for his uniform. The original colors were to dark to make out a lot of the details. I opted to go with a light green to replace some of the dark grey and blue. I also decided that I wanted the figure to have removable knife and pistol. I opted for a revolver and an over sized Bowie type of knife. I also thought it would be cool to give him a pointless leather strap on his upper arm like the original. I also wanted to hint at his past, so I decided to write Cobra in Japanese on his left upper arm as a tattoo, to represent his time in Japan racing speed boats. I also attempted to hint at his southern roots by using the Cross Country middle piece, but I was unable to get the proper look for the Confederate Flag on the buckle. yeah, shit yeah! That's a GREAT Copperhead, much better than the original figure, parts and especially more tolerable colors. The visor makes a lot more sense for his helmet too. Bonus for the functional holster, Hasbro fucked that up even in 2007. I LOVE the detail of the tattoo and the reason you went with it! Ya know, Chuck, that's a crazy NFC-type of character detail... is it possible... have I influenced you a bit?

That turned out awesome. I dig the parts selection.

Actually, you were the influence for the subliminal tattoo. Glad you guys like him.
