I havent started mold work on this guy yet, but what do you think? I attempted to make a Skeletor with my Smiling skull cast but he just looked too damn happy. I think one works quite nicely. So what do you say? Mold him or drop him?

I like it. Don't really do MOTU customs myself, but numerous people do & it's a cool sculpt. Keep it. Is that the skull from the upcoming Shadow Tracker?

I like it... I think it'd reach a broader audience if you cast up the skull and hood seperately... that way you could offer them together for skeletor, or serperate for just a skull and misc. hood accessories.

If I do make it for reproduction I will probably do it in two pieces so I can make white/cream skull and a colored hood and you wouldnt have to worry about painting around the skull inside the hood.

ok guys, now that I realized that the hood would not bunch on top of the shoulders but rather just hover there, it just isn't quite long enough, it is cut and sculpt time. I sliced it in half, trimmed the inside of the bunch a little to sit on the shoulder muscles better (it still needs a little trimming) and I will resculpt the two halves together. Work on that shall begin later this evening.

Ya couldn't just have drilled out the inner top of the hood so it sat lower on the noggin?
Looks good, esp as two pieces and in diff colors. If I were to do Skelly, I'm not sure I'd want the hard hood. I've been preferring fabric for hoods lately. Getting them square in my head how the folds should work before I start cutting the flat fabric beforehand is a bitch, tho.

I tried dremmelling it out first. It still hovered over the shoulders.

I think I got a nice length on it. Now I just need to clean it up. I also want to curve the top of the hood over just a little bit, make it a little bit more pointed the the front of a real hood.

It would make a good head for an undead Zartan too.

This has SOOOO many potential use: Skeletor (as planned), Any kind of undead character, Taskmaster, and my FAVORITE idea an occult Red Skull. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO gonna order one of these bad boys from you.
