Interesting. The neck looks a lil' low. Can't wait to see where this goes.

I realy wanted to use pilot scarlett's head because it has the hair done up in a bun... BUT... the head doesn't sit well on the ROC scarlett's neck.
I'm kind of toying with re-sculpting the hair on another ROC female's head into the same kind of bun, but not sure where to start or with which head. Any ideas for head that has a more movie acurate likeness of her?
btw the skirt is from that woman golden compas figure that has the large fur-coat over the entire figure... I got it at the peddler's mall for $2.99 and thought it was a pretty good deal even if I couldn't make it work.
there are still some issues I have with the figure itself but I think it'll look good once I find the correct head.

wouldn't the golden compass fig (kidman iirc) be a decent paltrow look alike ?

wouldn't the golden compass fig (kidman iirc) be a decent paltrow look alike ? that's the figure I pulled the skirt off of... I didn't particularly think that the hair style on that head sculpt was long enough. I'll hollow out a bigger neck-ball for the figure and see what it looks like though, might work better than I think.

scarlett's head looks plenty enough like Gwenyth IMO, much closer than that Kidman head does methinks

tried on the kidman head, and also tried to repaint the hair to make her a red-head... but epic fail on my part. This is the worst hair-repaint I've ever done. I guess that's a good thing because I realy don't like this head anyway. I'll probably paint back over it with brown or something for another custom down the road.... anyway, at fear of total embarassment at my horrible hair-stylings heres what that head looked like on her:

pilot scarlett's head sits way too low on that neck... so I'm going to try another head with some sculpted hair eventually...

pilot scarlett's head sits way too low on that neck... Fill the head with hot glue and put the neck post (covered in vaseline) in there at the height where you want it.

Fill the head with hot glue and put the neck post (covered in vaseline) in there at the height where you want it. there isn't enough space inside the head for that. for it to sit where it needs to the neck itself needs to be longer for that head... it's dificult to explain but trust me, the hot glue trick won't work here (otherwise I'd have already done it...)

Easy fix all you need is, super glue, sharp exacto, another neck. Cut the neck of this figure near the ball. Cut the ball off another neck. Then cut a cross section of neck off. Glue to PP neck. Glue ball on top. Sand if necessary.

Glue ball on top. Sand if necessary. I may resort to pulling a neck off another figure... but I realy want to try my hand at sculpting a unique head for her... if I can't get something to work after that then I *might* send it to JD....
