That looks great... the only thing I don't like is the stupid swivel joint in the forearm, I think that it takes away from some of the aesthetics of the figure... other than that, it's perfect.

I'm glad you guys dig him I started working on him early this year, way before I got the head which turned out to be on the small side. He was orignally supposed to be the Reigning Kumite Champion, but I didn't get my order in time (I was sent Bruce Willis instead of Bruce Lee  ) so Yoki no Kuro Uma was born. I think he'll make it to the next one though. This wip photo was taken in mid February  I'm still not happy with the thicker torso or split arms but I really wanted to finish up some customs. Now I'm thinking about using a different slimmer torso and non-split arms (I'm with ya SWG). Which one should I try next? Keep it the same, ROC SE, Resolute SE, Iron Fist 1, or Iron Fist 2?  I think I might also try HOH Storm Shadow upper arms with Resolute SE lower arms and mod the Hard Master hands to fit at the wrist. Or maybe POC Duke arms would work if I can find a pair. |

man, I knew that neither of the MU Iron Fists were 'good' figures but I forgot just how shitty they actually are.

Yeah, that's one of the MU characters I really wanted and then was disappointed, not once, but twice. I think the only salvagable part is the headsculpt. They didn't even give him his trademark collar (unless he lost it in the new series, I don't keep up with the comics). |
