Now that the line's essentially done, what does everyone think was the single best IM2 fig? Not necessarily your fave armor, but the product that best delivered the qualities of accuracy-of-sculpt-to-source, best paint deco (if not actual paint apps, lol), best articulation, etc. I'm gonna toss this same question up at Fwoosh to see if there's a difference in how primarily superhero collectors skew over primarily Joe collectors.
Personally, I gotta go with the Samuel L. Fury fig. While I think they did an excellent job in the production of him and I can't think of any dings against him in paint, sculpt, or accessories, I think the fact that he's got standard Joe hips that have no frustration-factor puts him over the top of all the actual IM figs.
What say you?

Comic Ironmonger. No question. This. If we're talking strictly 3.75" Hasbro stuff.

Hmm... I wouldn't even put Fury inmy top ten. The headsclpt was good but that's about it. No working holsters and a flap away coat weren't so good.
Comic Monger was nice, but nor my favourite.
I really liked Hypervelocity IM, just a perfect 3D version of the prototype picture, with great articulation.
Movie Mk I was awesome, so was movie WM.

The latest repaint of the Deep Dive armor.
It's a cool design, the articulation is decent, it's a great base for customs... Playability: It's large enough to be a comic accurate Hypervelocity armor (which is different than the HV figure, read the comic, it's awesome), it's bulky enough to be a deep sea armor or a space armor, or a heavy weapons armor, or any other cool ideas that come to mind while playing with it. It looks bad ass in the deep red and gold color scheme.
A close second would be the Hypervelocity figure (again, its not the same armor from that comic), I would have loved to see a stealth repaint, rather than that last repaint they did of it.
The Hulkbuster would probably be next on the list, sure it's underscaled, but fuck me, it's a Hulkbuster armor in the line of toys in my favorite scale! NEVER thought that this would happen. I wont complain.
Movie War Machine, Tit Man, Dynamo, both Mongers, Navy Drone, Silver Centurion, Neo-Classic armor were also winners in my book.
