I am working on getting together a stargate themed custom challenge. I will probably host it over on the tank to get the most exposure for it. Anyone here who would be interested in making an offworld team, science team, command team, or dio for it?

Not 2 days ago I had the idea to find another RAH Raider and tear the treads off to make the 'cabin' portion into an Assault PuddleJumper. Eventually SGC has to make one specifically for combat, and quit relying on all the old Atlantean 'taxis', right?
So, if I can find a spare Raider to destroy, I'd be in.

I never could get in to Stargate. I like the idea of the actual Stargates, but I thought everything else about the shows sucked. Just not my cup of tea.  |

The 'Gates themselves are a very cool idea but nothing else about the mythos does ANYTHING for me at all, I just have zero interest. The movie put me to sleep and both SG1 and SGA are terminally lame. That's why I can't participate in this challenge because I don't give a shit to create anything for it. |

Not all contests are for everybody. there just seems to be a good bit of interest lately, and I am jonesin for a stargate fix.

well then get on that shit. You can create a what if scenario. the way I am writing this up I think it can appeal to anyone. Stargate covered everything from sword and scorcery, to steampunk, to evil alien monsters, to synthetic body snatchers. You name it, it could fit in.
