Personally, I tend to give jack shit in concern towards photographing an item. It's simply not important to me. As long as the physical item looks good & I'm happy with it, I could care less about a picture. |

I'm not saying it's not a cool custom, worthy of a win, quite the opposite. But one would never know to look at it. Decent photography can make a custom more than it is. It gives you a chance to show off how much effort you put into it. Something as simple as hanging a black pillowcase or sheet up behind it as a backdrop would have made a world of difference. When it comes to a contest, it also says "I dont give a shit", which you've already stated you don't. I'll never vote for something like that. Yet another reason I voted for Sean's. It's one thing to not know how and another to not give a shit. If you didn't know how, all you had to do was ask. I would have talked you through shooting and hell, probably would have even done some editing for you. I could go on about how I want to see more customs and participation on the board, but I'd just be talking to myself. Give that thing to me for a weekend, along with Sean's customs, and I'll make it look like a scene out of the next fucking movie. |
