I just finished putting some green on a cast of the orc figure from the new Mega Bloks World of Warcraft line. Once these parts set I will go to wok on his shoulders and back. This is my first mega scale sculpt. Opinions please. Sean

ok got some work done on his back. The best part about taking all of these pics is it shows me all the little goofs I need to fix. Now the next question. To but-cheek or not to but-cheek?

rounding it out. I think I might be ready to start cleaning him up. I wonder if I should try to find Mr. Surfacer again.

Looks good. Not familiar with the figures or scale.

I don't like the bigger WoW bucks. I took all the bits (head, shoulder pads, feet) off the wolf and minotaur guys I got with the Gryphon and Weird Flying Lion critters and put them on HALOs and like them much more now.
You shouldn't find working with the WoW torsos difficult since they're practically 18th scale anyways. Hold the chest armor up to a Joe to see I'm right. It's the head and limbs that make these WoWs the little scale.

I want the beast type figures, especially the wolf, but I really don't like that griffin thing. The flying lion thing is cooler, but still not gonna make me drop 14 on it just to get the figure. Here is hopin we get some single pack monsters down the line.

As Sean said, not familiar with the line, but your custom looks great.

Ok I got the torso finished and molded along with 4 new ork heads. I need to get new green dye for my resin, it is way too teal. But better than painting on white. Spike head Horned Head Regular grunt Masked Head Now to figure out what body parts to use and get painting.

That is cool! So those guys compatible with lego block sections or are the foot pegs different scale? (Not that familiar with Brick figures) Could make for an interesting alternative to regular miniature gaming.

They are compatible with lego studs. Lego weapons are a little thicker in the handle so they stretch the hands a bit. Pretty much every brand of bricks is 100% compatible with each other.
Funny you should mention gaming. But that is neither here nor there at the moment.

Hey, those do look pretty keen. I'm still not a fan of the bigger torsos over the regular-sized ones, but the work is def cool.

The comparison shot really sells the work you did. The comparison puts the out of bag figure to shame. The casts look good too.

Yeah the WoW style are almost teeny tiny sigma 6 figures. All angles and sharp lines. I started working on rounding out a normal human one but it isn't going as well.
